1. Information You Provide

Display name (optional).If you choose to appear on the global leaderboard, you enter a display name. That name and your score are then submitted to our leaderboard and shown publicly to other players. You can play the entire game without setting a name — if you don't, nothing is submitted and you stay off the leaderboard.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

We use a product-analytics service (PostHog) to understand how the game is played and to improve it. This includes gameplay events such as starting and finishing a game (with the score and how long it lasted) and opening the leaderboard or settings, along with general technical information such as your device type, operating system version, app version, and a randomly generated, anonymous identifier.

This information is not tied to your real-world identity. We do not collect your real name, email address, contacts, phone number, precise location, or advertising identifiers, and the App contains no third-party advertising.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

Your best score, any in-progress game, your chosen display name, and your settings (such as sound and haptics) are stored locally on your device. This data stays on your device and is removed if you delete the App.

4. The Global Leaderboard

The global leaderboard is hosted using Supabase. When you submit a score, your display name and score are stored there and are visible to other players. Please do not use a display name that contains personal information you do not want to be public.

5. How We Use Information

• To operate the global leaderboard.
• To understand how the game is used and to improve gameplay and performance.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the App and the leaderboard.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your information. We share limited information with the service providers that run the App's backend, who process it on our behalf:

• PostHog — anonymous product analytics.
• Supabase — hosting the leaderboard database.

Leaderboard display names and scores are, by design, publicly visible to other players. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect against fraud, abuse, or security issues.

7. Data Retention

Leaderboard entries remain until they are removed. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard settings. You can ask us to remove a leaderboard entry using the contact details below.

8. Your Choices

• Play anonymously by not setting a display name.
• Request removal of a leaderboard entry by contacting us at the address below.
• Delete the App to remove all data stored on your device.

9. Children's Privacy

SlapBlock! is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The only optional identifier is a self-chosen display name; please do not enter a real name or other personal information for a child. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
